Services/Cell Groups


 

Our main service is on Sunday mornings.

We meet at The Saxon Hall at 10:30 for coffee.
We would normally finish around 1:00pm. Learn more

As well as meeting as a main congregation on a Sunday morning we also meeting in smaller groups
(6-12) during the week.  A cell meeting usually starts with a short time of worship followed by a bible study and prayer.
These smaller groups also have the advantage that strong friendships are created.
It is also a great opportunity for developing gifts which can be used later in a wider church context. Learn more..

 

Children

Every Friday during school term time, we meet at Saxon Hall from 6.30 till 7.45pm.

We have lots of fun learning about Jesus. There are games, challenges (boys v girls), and stories on video, drama and songs.   Learn more..

Rock Solid is for those in years 5 & 6 and consists of a fast paced programme, which has both team and individual games, which span from the traditional to the whacky with a time to chill and chat. Learn more..

Young People

is for 5 to 16 year olds. We meet every Sunday 10.30 - 12.30 at Saxon Hall. During our time together we expect to meet with God by singing, dancing, using DVDs, drama & games, as well as eating doughnuts! Learn more...

 

Alpha

ALPHA is a national programme which began in an Anglican Church in London and has now spread across the world.
There are approximately 32,500 courses running and over 9 million people have completed an Alpha course.

What happens on an           Alpha Course?

Supper: There is a light meal together at the beginning of each session,
Talk: After each talk we divide into small groups to discuss the topic of the evening,

Parents / Couples

is a series of eight sessions designed to help any married couple strengthen their relationship.
It’s a great opportunity to spend time together as a couple looking at the important issues in your marriage.

We are a modern lively church whose main meeting is on Sunday mornings, this starts at 10:30 or join us for coffee at 10.15 in the Saxon Hall.
We are part of the VIA group of Midlands Churches, which is an expression of the Pioneer national network.

Our services are open to all and we would love to welcome you.

Our Leader is Pastor Sandra Willetts

Raunds Community Church began in Raunds in 1988 as Praise Community Church and originated from Baptist roots in Thrapston. In 1994 the Church was set up in its own right as Raunds Community Church and is registered with the Charity Commission.
 

We are part of Pioneer, a group of nationwide Churches, with an emphasis on relationship and non-religious Christianity.

Our vision is to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the people of Raunds and it's surroundings; we have a particular desire to have a positive impact on the children and youth in the town and surrounding area.

Church leaders and members visit most of the local schools talking at assemblies and running various Christian groups.

We have been meeting at the Saxon Hall in Raunds for the past 14 years where we also run our Friday night Children and youth work.
Kids Club for school years 1-4
Rock Solidfor school years 5 & 6
The Edge for school years 7 & up
Ulitm8 is for 5 to 16 year olds

We meet as a congregation together on Sunday mornings commencing at 10:30 or 10.15 for coffee and finishing around 1:00pm, during this time we also run children’s church for various age groups. Our youth also participate in Ultim8, their own experience of church

The Church is committed to Churches Together in Raunds where we work closely with all of the town churches.

We also meet in cell groups for bible study, teaching and prayer.

There are also other specific groups meeting
Alpha to explore the Christian faith
Parent talk to equip and encourage parents in the bringing up of children
Marriage Course to assist and enrich marriages
